No Gadkari or Munde Factions in Party: Pune BJP Chief |
Daijiworld Media Network - Mumbai / Pune![]() It is learnt that Mathkari has got the green signal from BJP national president, Nitin Gadkari, to form the executive committee, though patch-up work is still in progress at New Delhi to convince 'unhappy' leader, Gopinath Munde, who has raised a banner of revolt, having been angered over sidelining of his loyalist, Yogesh Gogawale. A section of the BJP in Maharashtra is still nursing the hope that Yogesh Gogawale will be appointed as Pune BJP chief. On the other hand, some media reports have claimed that Gopinath Munde has been seriously considering other options, including whether to continue to be associated with the BJP or not, if his demands are not met. One of the Congress MPs from Mumbai, speaking to daijiworld.com, said that Munde has shown a leaning towards the Congress, and may be considering joining the Congress as one of his options, if the BJP leaders fail to convince him to continue in the party. |
