Salman to shoot for Dabangg 2 next year?
It seems like post 'Danangg,' the undisputed star of Bollywood has no time to squeeze dates for the sequel of the 2010 blockbuster and so, producer Arbaaz is not keen to start the project anytime soon.
It’s reported that Salman is planning to start shooting for ‘Dabangg’ only by mid next year.
Salman, who is busy shooting for his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri’s ‘Bodyguard,’ would soon start working for Yash Raj’s film and also his younger brother Sohail’s dream project and only then will he have some breathing space to prepare for the second installment of ‘Dabangg'.
Talking about Salman, Arbaaz stated, “Salman Khan is a big star. He has several films lined up before he gets ready for Dabangg 2. He has to finish Atul (Agnihotri)'s Bodyguard.
"Then he has to start two films later this year, one for Yashraj and the other for brother Sohail. This is the first time Salman is working with Yashraj. And we're all very excited about.”
Arbaaz to start ‘Dabangg 2’ by next year
Arbaaz has proved to be darn successful producer with his first home production film ‘Dabangg’ becoming the biggest hit of last year. The film eventually fetched him the most coveted National award for being an enticingly entertaining product.
But, it seems like this high profile producer doesn’t want to take any chances, so he has put the sequel to ‘Dabangg’ on hold.
“Who says I will postpone Dabangg 2. I am on course and Salman has given me dates next year. He is busy right now. I am ready to race and I am just waiting in the starting line,” stated Arbaaz.
Audience is more important to Salman than awards
Flushed with congratulatory messages after 'Dabangg' bagged the 58th National award for the best film, Salman is thankful to the audiences for showering their love on the film.
"Awards and rewards, we were already given by the people of the country long ago for the film. Now the people forced the government of India that this award should go to 'Dabangg' only.
"This award is important to me but people are more important. So I was as it is very happy that people enjoyed the film," stated Salman.
