Bhansali unaffected by Rani, Sonam's remarks
Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has newly become a talk of the town, thanks to his own good old friends Rani Mukerjee and Sonam Kapoor who recently poked fun at him publicly.
Bhansali seems a little unhappy that his much loved stars are not giving him respect and importance, even after he had shaped their respective careers.
It’s heard that Rani and Sanjay’s friendship soured when the actress used his sister Bela’s film’s title ‘Hadippa’ for Yash Raj’s film 'Dil Bole Hadippa'.
It was during the release of the Yash Raj film that Sanjay felt betrayed by Rani so much so that he stopped talking to her and the actress didn’t take the opportunity to clarify.
Sanjay reacts to Sonam's comment
Apart from Rani, Bansali was upset and angry when Sonam mocked at him in Karan Johar’s chat show 'Koffee with Karan', when she not-so-subtly expressed that "he should mix different hues into his life other than back and blue."
After having shown his prowess in music and direction, Sanjay who is getting ready to judge the upcoming singing show "X-Factor" spoke about Sonam by stating that he was certainly disappointed when the actress took a dig at him on the chat show.
Speaking about his friends in a recent interview, Sanjay stated, "They're my friends and I don't get affected by anyone lashing out at me. We're human beings, we can hurt and we can be hurt.
"We make associations… keep some, lose some and get some back. And I'm part of show business. You sail through everything with a peaceful smile and a strong mind."
Bhansali in search of a good performer in ‘X’ factor
Bhansali, who would be judging the singing talent show ‘X’ factor along with singers Sonu Niigaam and Shreya Ghoshal, said at the official launch of the show that his job is to find a good performer.
“We are doing grooming sessions. They are very intensive sessions. I am giving them everything that, however little, possibly I know, teach them techniques as an actor, as a performer to think and know what are subtexts of a song and many more things. That's my role; it's not for my own stardom. I am employed to find a good performer and I will do that,"stated Bhansali.
‘X factor’ will be aired on Friday and Saturday
Sony Entertaiment’s ‘X factor’ will be aired Friday and Saturday and this show would be a platform for talent that doesn’t keep a restriction on age, whether it’s 16-year-old or 60-year-old.
Speaking about judging the show, Sanjay stated, “Primarily it's the singing because at the end of the day it's a singing show, and then comes what is your ability to perform on stage and ability to hold the audience because we are looking for a performer."
