Ekta to confiscate cell phones on the sets of 'Dirty Picture’
Ekta Kapoor is known as a tough taskmaster when it comes to work. Recently, she restricted the cast and crew of 'Dirty Picture' from using cell phones while shooting for the film.
Ekta has strictly told everyone from the staff to the visitors to give away their phones to the production before entering the sets.
Since the film revolves around the life of late south Indian siren Silk Smitha, the producers do not want the look of the film to be leaked out and that’s the reason the makers are guarding every move and have banned cell phones on the sets.
Speaking about new rule on the sets in a recent interview, Ekta stated "Every actor in the film will essay the role of an individual from the South Indian film industry. Tusshar will play a struggling writer while Naseer will essay the character of a grown up actor who works in children's films in the eighties.
"This is the first time a Hindi film will depict the South Indian cine industry. There are different colours to each character and everyone has a specific look. The cell phones on the sets can ruin everything for us."
Vidya’s look very different in 'Dirty Picture'--Ekta
Vidya Balan, who is portraying the character of the late Silk Smitha in the film, will be seen in skimpy clothes donning a sexy avatar.
Talking about Vidya’s look in the ‘Dirty Picture’, Ekta stated, "Vidya, however, will be seen in revealing clothes. She has three or four different looks in the film.”
‘Dirty Picture’ to go on floors from May 30
The film which is directed by Milan Luthria, is slated to go on floors from May 30 and shooting will apparently take place in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
It’s learnt that the film will have a retro look and the music will be given by duo Vishal and Shekhar.
Talking about the look of the film, Ekta stated, “To put it succinctly, the look is very Moulin Rouge meets Himmatwala. The Dirty Picture will be a good-looking, humorous and soulful romantic drama, with music at its core."
